Using where you Look to Create a Focus Habit

In the 97th episode of Unstoppable Equestrian, I share with you my fourth weekly ‘Rider Habit’ video. I discuss with you the importance of knowing where you need to look with your eyes to help put you into your focus zone & create a focus habit.

It’s important to note that this is different for everyone, & the general ‘look up where you are going’ is not always the best spot to rest your eyes while riding!

Over the 8 weeks, I will be showing up weekly on Facebook live videos (recordings will be posted on my website!) to share with you an exercise you can easily implement each week to kick start these habits.

Recently, I’ve been thinking about what riding habits we need to be the best rider we can be & I have come up with the below topics:

8 Rider Habits to implement to improve confidence, performance & enjoyment:

  • Breathing
  • Body Awareness
  • Empowering Self Talk
  • Focus
  • Gratitude
  • Visualising/Meditation
  • Consistency
  • Growth

My aim is to give you a different mindset or body awareness exercise each week that you can practice throughout the week in your riding, to start the process of creating new, empowering habits.

Enjoy your next ride!

Danielle
