In the 64th Unstoppable Equestrian video blog, I share with you the two reasons why we forget dressage tests.
I also introduce to you the idea that there are four types of learning styles. You can download the Riding Quiz here and answer the twelve short questions to find out what your preferred learning style is.
REASON NUMBER ONE
If you find that you can remember your dressage tests leading up to the day of your competitions and find you don’t forget dressage tests until you are in the ring then this is typically a sign that performance nerves or competition anxiety is the key player that is holding you back.
In this case, you might like to check out past video blogs like What are Riding Nerves & Where do they Come From? and The Power of Focusing on What You Want to help you start your journey to improving your mindset in the competition area.
REASON NUMBER TWO
You may be learning the dressage tests in the wrong learning style for you. You can download the Riding Quiz here to find out what your preferred learning style is. I will go into more detail about the four types of learning styles in next weeks video blog.
